More Information
This web site was inspired by the Message of the Holy Father for the 36th World Communications Day with the theme: "Internet: A New Forum for Proclaiming the Gospel", Sunday, May 12, 2002, and published early from the Vatican, 24 January 2002, the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales. The site also integrates the 43rd World Communications Day Message of Pope Benedict XVI, which calls all Catholic faithful to create a culture of respect, dialogue and friendship in the "new digital continent".

Updates through the Feeds of this Catholic Network

The core information of the site

The core information on basic and small Catholic web site development can be found in the site's home page and in the published articles directory. There are also a few advanced articles on scripting, social networking techniques, use of mobile phone technology, and the use of third-party applications to enhance a web site or blog. Updates on web site development and networking can be obtained through three feeds. You can visit, search or subscribe to any of these feeds.

The Main Feed

The Main Feed always contains 15 items updated regularly once or twice a week. It provides ideas for blogging and writing Catholic articles. The items of the main feed are sourced from Catholic blogs and content published in the web site. If you wish to view the items of the main feed, click here. If you want to subscribe to this feed with your favorite feed reader, just register the URL http://www.c-web-developer.net/rss.xml

The Blog Feed

In the Blog Feed, a summary is posted periodically which gives abstracts on content from other blogs, and all the articles produced on basic and small Catholic web site development. Since the blog publishes a summary, the blog publishes the summary once or twice a month. If you want real-time updates, you can view or subscribe to FriendFeed. But if you are in no hurry, and would just like a summary of all content produced on Catholic web site development, then you can view, search or subscribe to this Blog Feed.

FriendFeed

FriendFeed is a third-party application that aggregates content not only from this site and its blog, but also includes content from Catholic news sites and technology sites. This feed publishes in real-time twice a week, with an average of five to seven items. This is a more comprehensive feed and is presented in multimedia format (including video files). You can view, search, or subscribe to this feed for a more comprehensive update on basic and advanced web development. To view this feed, click here.
